How to Disable Screen Saver Passwords

Go to start-Run and type ” gpedit.msc “  it will open group policy editor

  1. Expand User Configuration, and then expand Administrative Templates.
  2. Expand Control Panel, and then click Display.
  3. In the right pane, double-click Password protect the screen saver.
  4. Click to select Disable on the Policy tab. This prevents users from setting passwords on screen savers for this computer or domain.
  5. Click the Explain tab for information about how to use this policy.
  6. Click Apply.
  7. Click OK, and then close the MMC.
  8. Restart the computer or update the group policy by using “gpupdate” Run command.
