Screensaver drop down menu greyed out

To resolve this problem:-
Start>Run>type Regedit >Click Ok or, press the Enter Key.
Now navigate to the following locations:-
1. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Control Panel\Desktop  now find out SCRNSAVE.EXE entry in the right pane and delete it.

2. HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Control Panel\Desktop now find out SCRNSAVE.EXE entry in the right pane  and delete it.
Close the registry editor and restart the machine.
